It’s so easy to say your going to run a 5 K, but actually doing it for some is difficult because for some, they haven’t actually ran that far so the transition can be difficult. Some easy ways to get to your goal is
– start slow. Don’t think your going to run right out and run a5 K. Start out running 10 minutes a day then work your way up.
– stretch before running. Some people who have taken a long time off of running wouldn’t want to take the risk of pulling a muscle . Make sure you stretch well before running.
– start out running 3-4 days a week instead of the whole 7. Then the next week go up to 4-5 days then so on. In the end you will get there. Just be patient, and work slowly.
