Why is yoga important?

Yoga is so important for a number of reasons. You do not have to be a yogi of some sort, or you don’t have to stand on your head for 10 minutes. The basics of yoga are enough. I started doing yoga about 7 years ago , and I can’t tell you what it has done for me. I am so much more flexible , and run the risks for injuries much less. I don’t have sore muscles after my more strenuous workouts, and it has seriously elongated my muscles. If you are starting out.. Start with small stretching and work your way up. They do offer ” basic yoga sessions ” everywhere . You may end up loving it so much.. That a hot yoga may be next for you. Believe me.. Investing in yoga will help you as you age and help your body in so many ways!!! 💜
