I’ve had some emails this week inquiring about my fitness routine. It differs every week, as I am so passionate about working out that I have to try new routines all the time!
Also, I feel if you don’t sweat during your workout, you aren’t working out hard enough. I have tried too many workouts where I leave not feeling like it was even a workout! When that happens, I can promise you I won’t try it again.
So here’s a sample workout week:
Monday – I usually start with a 2-mile run outside (weather permitting) or a 35-minute elliptical workout. Once I get my cardio in, I usually concentrate on one muscle group which is my arms. I will do a 40 minute arm workout or I’ll do a Kettleworx class.
Tuesday – I usually concentrate on my legs. Typically, I’ll do 40 minutes of leg work in the gym.
Wednesday – I start off with cardio, then back and arms.
Thursday – yoga class, then abs and legs. Sometimes, I fit in a Tracy Anderson workout. Love her!
Friday – cardio, then legs and abs. Or Kettleworx again!
Saturday – Light cardio, that’s it.
Sunday – off! I usually have a cheat day a week where I eat what I want (tacos or Italian food usually)!
Back on it Monday!
