I’ve talked about how much I love the Urban Decay Palette, but one other one that I recommend is the Laura Mercier Artist’s Palette for Eyes and Cheeks.
This palette comes with the most gorgeous colors, and works well with all skin tones. She has some of the most amazing products; her tinted moisturizer is one of my all time favorites. There’s no other way to start the day than with a powerful, healthy breakfast. I’m a fruit lover, and I am constantly putting together fruit dishes, salads, and parfaits. When you hear the word parfait, it can sound “fattening.” My parfaits are NOT fattening; they are healthy and fuel filled. One of my favorites is my blueberry and mango. This is so delicious and filling. It is loaded with fiber and healthy nutrients to get your day going the right way. Try this at home, and let me know what you think!
-1/4 cup blueberries
-1 mango sliced
-1 cup of Greek plain organic yogurt
-1/3 cup walnuts chopped (or almonds if you prefer)
Layer with a bit more fruit and maybe sprinkle cinnamon on top. Voila!

Everyone knows that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and I still cringe when people tell me they never eat it. It’s SO important that we fuel our bodies first thing in the morning. Breakfast provides us with our energy, but it also provides us with important nutrients, vitamins, protein, and fiber to get us through our days. It’s a proven fact that if we miss breakfast, we tend to want to eat more throughout the day. I wake up every morning and have my warm lemon water, then I make yogurt and fruit, or oatmeal and fruit.
