I wanted to share with you a great product that not only gives depth to your eyes, but is one of the best products I have found. For any of you that love that “winged eye” look, this is for you! I know that Mac sells the most amazing nail colors along with lip colors, but I honestly have only tried a handful of their other products. I was recently in Chicago, and stumbled into their awesome store, and thought I’d try their black liner. I’m not a person who wears eye liner very often, except if I know I’m going out , or to an event. I’ll add just a bit to the top of my eye lids. I’ve never been one that has been into that bottom eye eyeliner look. I’ve always thought it closes up the eye, and makes them look small. I do wear it on the top, and smudge it a bit. When I put this on, I didn’t want to smudge it because it has such a great clarity to it, and is a bit thick. If any of you are looking for a great liner, this one will not disappoint. You can order online at www.maccosmetics.com

With the summer here, and heading to the beach or the pool, Ive written past posts on the damaging effects of the sun on the skin, and how important it is to wear a high SPF sunscreen to protect your skin from the harmful UV rays. It does so much damage to our skin, including wrinkling, giving us that creppy look , way before our time. Every article I see about sun care, it relies soley on the skin, but what about the hair? Hair has to stay beautiful and manageable without the dryness, and the sun doing damage to those who color their hair. Sunscreen isn’t just for the skin. Aveda has come out with a great sunscreen for the hair that I use on myself as well as my daughter. It prevents the sun from drying out the hair shaft. Once we get everything protected , doesn’t everyone want those beachy wave looks that look so amazing, and makes your hair smell like the carribbean? I know I love it, and it makes your hair so beautiful, yet natural without all the hairspray, and product build up. sun bum makes an amazing product that gives your hair those beachy waves. Once my hair is wet, I usually spritz some of this in my hair, and it dries as waves. Everyone’s hair is different. These are the products that I would add to my beach bag , along with my sunhat and a high SPF. Beachy hair is the best. Right?
How many of you love a warm relaxing bath after a crazy chaotic day? A bath where you can sit for an hour and just take away all the mind craziness? Well if you are like me, I love a nice bath. Its no just a bath , but a ritual that calms the mind, and honestly sets you up for a great nights sleep. I have so many bath products, that I have given so much of it to my daughter. She is loving the lush bath bombs, which are spectacular. They can be picked up at www.lushusa.com. They are a girls best friend. There is a few things that you can do to make that bath more calming, and to get the most out of it. If you have any dimmer lights, they are nice to use with a few candles. My favorite bath candles are the henribendel candles, which smell divine. If you have no dimmer switch, a few great candles will work out just fine. Do you have a favorite bath oil? Oils added to your bath, add so much moisture to the skin, especially in the winter, and help with drying out the skin. olive and m oils are my all time favorite, and they are all natural. While I add oil to my bath, I also add in a few lavender bath salts which helps draw toxins out of the body. If you are doing a cleanse, lavender bath salts are great for this. I try not to read or do anything that clogs up my memory. Doing this sometimes, can make it hard for you to fall asleep because your mind is racing. Great smelling bath products are a must for me, so I use jo Malone products. Once you get out, putting a natural oil on your body is essential for moisturizing, or a great body crème. Baths have long been ideal for many of years, and I can see why. I feel so relaxed after them, and I truly do sleep better. So, what are your favorite bath products? Comment below.. We would love to hear.
