The concept of drinking tea has been around for centuries, and there are so many health benefits to adding it to your lifestyle. I know people that cant stand tea, and I’m saying in my head, …
Spring is a time where everything around us starts to come alive again. The trees are gaining their blooms, the tulips are popping up, the grass is becoming greener, and the birds are chirping again. For those of us that live in Winter months, we as people start blooming again also it seems. We start hitting the gym more, eating more healthy. The spring time should be a time where we restart rejuvenating our systems, and do away with the extra weight that we tend to store during the winter months.
The alkaline way of eating reduces inflammation in the body that cuts down on the ailments that we can see later in life. Eating raw foods and more greens can give you more of a balanced state within the body. We feel more energetic, our skin starts to clear, we maintain a healthier body weight, and so much more. Less inflammation in the body , the better we feel. The great greens( which I call them) supports amazing detoxification of all the bodily systems.
Spring time is a time to ditch the starchy foods, and preservative filled foods, and replace them with lots of kale, spinach, collard greens, organic vegetables, such as avocados and peppers. These foods work from the inside out. You will be able to see the differences with in two weeks of switching. The best bet that I tell people is start in your kitchen. Throw out all things that do not do the body good, then go from there. You can start slowly by finding new recipes to experiment with.
I switched to an alkaline diet, and I cant believe the difference in my skin. I feel so much better when I’m putting raw foods into my body. I have a lot more energy, and even my muscles feel better when I work out. The clarity in your skin will really start to improve , as well as the dark circles. Adding a great diet , along with lots of good filtered water is the way to go.
