Ways to Cope with Burn Out

Hi Dolls.

Are you one that says to yourself every day, “only if there was 24 more hours? I know I am, and the reason? Its constant going. Life is quick, and the days seem short anymore. It’s easy to get caught up in the needs of your family, and not taking time for yourself., then before you know it , you are feeling completely burnt out. Well here are some great ways to avoid burn out. One thing that you need to understand is that every time you get something taken off you TO-DO list, there is another thing that takes it spot. Life will not slow down.

There are many benefits to caffeine. ( Did you happen to see my recent post on it?)If you are one that feels during the day , you crash in the mid afternoon, then you may want to try to replace your caffeine fix with something more calming, such as chamomile or mint tea. They have more relaxing benefits for the body, and will not leave you feeling like you need to take a mid day nap.pexels-photo (1)

These both are some of my favorites. If you are one that is a bit intimidated by yoga, then just try some yoga poses in your own home, or if you are one that really doesn’t know how to meditate, I’m here to tell you that there is no special way. The best way to start is to find a quiet place in your home or office, and sit and think about something that makes you happy. It is very important to focus on your breath, and inhale through your nose, and out your mouth. Playing some relaxing music also helps. If you are still now confident with trying it on your own, find a meditation podcast. Those are wonderful. My favorite is Mary Meckley podcasts. Shes wonderful.

Spending time in nature with friends is always a great way to relax. Grab a friend and go for a walk, or take your kids to a local park. Its just nice to sit out , and get out of your element.

Having a glass of red wine with dinner is surely ok, but drinking more than that before bed , will disrupt sleep, and wake you , making you dehydrated, which in turn will not give you a full nights rest. This is very important. Too much alcohol will also make you crash, and leave you feeling tired the next day.

There are many ways to find relaxation. My favorite is working out daily. The minute my body has been worked, I feel on top of my game, and I do feel more relaxed. When I have went a few days without working out, that is when I feel at my worse. It makes my mind clouded. Its all about what makes you feel grounded and relaxed. That’s what works!

I’m suffering from a bit of this at the moment, and I’m trying to figure out what works for me. I swapped coffee for tea for a while, but felt even more exhausted. Going easy on the alcohol definitely helps though! 🙂

I think it’s because your body was so use to coffee for so long. Try to just cut down. Go down to one cup then add tea in the mix also.
