Everyone wants glowing skin. The older we get, the collagen supply gets slimmer and slimmer. Cleansing the skin morning and night is the key to keeping our skin supple, and clear. The use of facial masks weekly has shown to help with reduction of pores, and a decrease in lines and wrinkles.
I ran across a great Instagram page recently, and had to try a recipe that can be made in your very own kitchen for glowing skin. Joanna Vargas NYC, one of the top spas in NYC, recently posted a great beer mask recipe that will give your skin a glow like no other. We all know that beer can be used to give dark hair great shine, but I never knew it could help with glowing skin. I recently made it, and wow was it amazing. I’m visiting NYC next month, and have already made my appointment at her amazing spa. I can’t wait to tell you all about it!
This recipe requires 1 egg white, 1/2 cup beer ( I used Miller light), and 2 teaspoons fresh lime juice. Combine the egg white with the beer and lime juice. Slather it onto your face, and leave on for 10 minutes. Rinse with warm water, and apply a great moisturizer afterwards. Happy Glowing!
