Great Ways to cut down on Sugar

We all crave our desserts and sweets from time to time. Some of us have them occasionally, while others live on it daily. There are many ways that you can decrease your sugar intake, just by some great daily habits. Its best to know that a habit can take a while to get out of. If you are one that gets hungry, and grabs a candy bar every day, then taking proper steps will help you out of that bad habit that is harmful to your health. Sugar is a drug. Its addicting and its harmful to your body and health. It brings on so many ailments down the road, such as diabetes, heart disease, obesity, high cholesterol, and so much more. I really don’t buy it for my home. I feel kids can pick healthier choices that gives them the proper energy their body needs. For instance, if you are one that loves chocolate, try adding in dark chocolate as a treat. Endangered species sells the best Dark chocolate out there. I keep them around my house all the time. If you travel quite often, try packing your own snacks . It prevents you from stopping at the crappy fast food sites. That food ends up making you feel horrible, and zaps your energy. Great snacks that you could take are nuts, fruit, cut up vegetables with hummus, or even whole grain cereal bars. Packing a small cooler is perfect for traveling.

I always keep water around my home with fresh squeezed juices. I would rather my kids have a naked drink then pouring them a huge glass of pop. Its all about the balance of food choices. Drinking plenty of water makes you feel fuller through out the day, and prevents over eating and sugar cravings. make sure to have plenty of healthy snacks on hand. Cut up your vegetables weekly for ready made snacking. Its perfect if you have kids. If your schedule is busy through the week, make out a menu for the week so that you are pre planning and preparing meals. This prevents eating out , which can ultimately be unhealthy. taking small steps every day will get you away from that sugar.

Detox with Teami Blend Tea

It’s always Tea Time at my house, and I am loving Teami Tea Blends. I try to drink tea daily , and this particular blend has been amazing.

I know there are many detox teas on the market, and I have used many of them. This particular Tea has a great taste, and I’ve felt more energy than any other tea.

The Teami Blends Tea comes with a two pack of the morning blend and the colon blend. The morning blend boosts your metabolism, raises your energy, and helps keep those food cravings at a halt. The colon blend is the night Time tea, and it helps purify your toxins, helps reduce Any bloating, and improves the digestion. I’ve noticed better sleep quality also with the nighttime blend.

The great component about this particular Tea is that it’s all natural with no additives, and it’s soy free and vegan. If any of you are wanting to kick start a detox program, this is a great tea blend that you will love. You can find this at

Matcha is Skin Magic

Who ever said that Matcha is only good as a drinking tea? Studies have shown that Matcha is now being infused in skincare products all around the world, and here is why!

We all know that Matcha Tea has been around forever, and drinking it daily adds so much to your wellness and overall health. It’s loaded with antioxidants called polyphenols that our body needs on a regular basis. It’s a superfood that keeps on giving. When Matcha is applied topically, it can help soothe irritation and help prevent inflammation in the skin. The Vitamin E that is added to these skincare products helps moisturize the skin, and decrease redness. These products are prefect if you are struggling with dry skin texture or rosecea, which is a common problem.

Origins sells amazing Matcha green tea products That will give you cleaner skin with better clarity. It’s best to use these products for at least a week to see the results. You can also find Matcha infused makeup wipes that gently cleanse your skin like no other. I personally love the Matcha infused makeup oil remover. Either way you like, the ultimate result will have your skin begging for more Matcha.
