Avocado and Mixed Herb salad

Salads are a great start to cleansing your diet. The only important part is making sure that salad is cleansing and alkaline without toppings full of fat and preservatives. Light salads are a great way to keep your energy up and inflammation at bay. I’m always throwing together a variety of greens with a mixture of vegetables. This particular salad is perfect in the summer paired with a great tilapia or cod. Herb salad

-2 cups arugula

-2 cups spinach

-1/2 cup cilantro ( fresh)

-1/2 cup parsley ( fresh)

-1 organic lemon

2 organic tomatoes

2 organic green peppers or jalapeños ( your call)

2 organic avocados

1/4 cup chestnuts

Throw the greens and herbs together. Make sure you toss it up for about 2 min . Add in the juice of the lemon. Cut up the vegetables and throw those in with your greens. Add in some olive oil and vinegar. ( use what you want for your liking) . Add in a bit of black pepper. This is a delicious salad. Enjoy!
