My Homemade Christmas Planters

Hi Ladies!

Its my favorite time of year and I love decking the halls and my home. One thing that I absolutely love is filing my planters outside with Christmas Love. I love filing them with greenery, red and gold and different Christmas picks. In the past, I use to buy planters , put them in my planters and just add things. This year, I just didn’t like the way any of them looked. I decided this year, I was going to make my own. I went to Michaels and bought everything that I thought would look good in a planter. I picked out greenery, berry picks, and some with glitter. I used my old mum planters once I threw my planters out. I filled my mum planter with round styrofoam and started sticking the greenery around the perimeter of the mum planter. Once that was done, I started taking the tallest picks and sticking them in the middle and then surrounding them with my other Christmas picks. A very important note: once the greenery is around the perimeter of the mum planter, start pulling them up so the greenery covers the black part of the filler. This is really easy and fun. You can buy any great Christmas picks at Michaels or Hobby Lobby. I’m pretty proud of the way they turned out.
