The Top Beauty Products I Can’t Live Without

I am proclaimed beauty junkie. Yes, you heard that right. I can’t tell you the money I have shelled out over the years to find the Best products to suit my beauty needs. I am a Sephora lover, and going to Sephora is like heading to Target. It’s a money trap, but only with the Best in Beauty.

The Chanel Eye Palettes are amazing

I have found some pretty amazing products, despite the money wastes. These are the products that I keep going back to over and over again. I find something pretty special with each of them. I have tried cheaper versions of these products, but the more expensive ones always win the game.

Lets start with Mascara. Mascara is my best friend. If I was deserted on an island , and could only take one beauty product, it would definitely be Mascara. Tom Ford Mascara is my ultimate favorite. I have tried every single mascara known to man. Tom Ford’s is the ultimate best. It gives your lashes so much volume, and the Black is a true lush black. I simply can’t get enough of Tom Ford when it comes to anything.

Highlighter is another favorite of mine. I don’t use a lot of it, but it does seem to give your skin a bit of a sheek look. I love the Anastasia Beverly Hills highlighter. It is gorgeous. It goes on very light and really doesn’t give you a highlighter look. It just gives your skin a bit of a dewy look. I love it.

Chanel has the Best Palettes. If you are looking for a good eyeshadow palette to travel with, then Chanel sells some amazing ones. I love deep browns, and greys and they have the best. They are small, and travel very nicely.

I’m not a huge lipstick person. I love a pop of color, but I say No Way to Matte colors. They are too dry for me, and I love a good gloss with a good lip pencil. Clinique sells great lip pencils that are lip colors. They are more velvety and have so much shine. It’s a lip color in one with the lip pencil. I’s addicted to them. These pencils come in some amazing colors, and they last a long time on your lips.

Well I have shared some of the most amazing products that I simply can’t live without. What are some of your favorite beauty products?

Its Parka Season

Hi Ladies!

The perfect parka for this season

The perfect parka for this season

Fall is here, and just around the corner is the winter months. I’m loving the parkas that you are seeing in every fashion magazine, and am loving all of them. I recently picked me up a great parka for the season from one of my favorite stores, zara. Everyone is carrying them, and they come in many different colors. Its like an arctic piece making its way back into the fashion world. They usually come with insulated liners, and some even have the fur lined hoods, or faux fur linings which look great with boots of any sort. They look amazingly effortless, and can be thrown on with just about any outfit, and look quite chic. Spyder sells some great parkas if you are wanting to spend a little more on a fashion staple this year. The great thing is these coats will be in for a long time. I cant see it just being a trend. Patagonia also sells great looking parka coats. You can accessorize these coats with the best of winter dresses, or rugged jeans of your choice. These coats have come a long way in the fashion world, when they first invented for hunting or kayaking. Now you can even see these coats being worn in the Runway shows.

Sensitive skin? Be gentle

La solution 10 De chanel

La solution 10 De chanel

Hi ladies !

Sensitive skin is on the rise, and I’m not the only one with it. From day One, Ive had to watch what I put on my face, and have spent numerous amounts of money trying to find the perfect skin care. One thing with sensitive skin is, you DO NOT want to over cleanse. Over cleansing will just wreak havoc on your skin. With the cold months here, its best to find the perfect non invasive skin care that isn’t too harsh on your skin. Over 51% of American women describe their skin as sensitive, which I feel includes everything from redness, itchiness, inflamed skin, breakouts, and more. I can bet that almost every woman or close has been allergic to certain brands, whether its the ingredients or the chemistry in which their skin is made up. Their is recent research that has been done that suggests that strengthening the top layer of your skin , can help any ingredients soak into the skin better, and therefore can prevent some sensitivity.

One component of sensitivity is inflammation of the skin. There are many things that can cause this besides certain ingredients. It can be pollution, stress, over exposure of the sun. There are many factors. You want to support your skins natural defense system, and that means finding a skin care routine that works. You should check out any gentle skin care regimens, and one thing you do not want to do is over exfoliate. This is a huge no-no, and can really make your skin overly tight, and almost a feeling of itchiness. Make sure any exfoliant you use, you read the directions first. Don’t pick one that aggravates the skin. Make sure you get one that is for sensitive skin. Do not over cleanse your face. Make sure you use a gentle cleanser, and do not use harsh scrubbing. This will once again irritate the skin, and make the redness worst, among all else. You want to nurture the skin’s PH, and help prevent cracking, and dryness, Make sure any makeup you use through the day is intended on your skin type. If you are one that heads to your local facialist monthly, make sure you know what kind of products she is using. A lot of products that are used in certain facials, depending on where you go, can be too harsh for your skin type, or they may use a brand that has maybe broken you out before. Make sure you know all products that are being used.

Some great products that are nice for sensitive skin are La solution 10 de chanel, which is great for dryness. This will add a bit of moisture back into your skin. Another great item is Laroche-posay cicaplast.

Becca Cosmetic Workshop

Hi Ladies!

Becca cosmetics

Becca cosmetics

Last week I had the great opportunity to attend an amazing makeup workshop in Indianapolis, and becca cosmetics was there talking about all their great cosmetics, and fall cosmetic line. I had the opportunity to pick some great items up from their line, and I have to tell you, one of my favorites is the Shimmering Skin Perfector. I picked the color up Moonstone because that worked best with my complexion. its a type of pale gold color, and it adds a little bit of shimmer to your cheeks to give you that dewy look in the light. The shimmering skin perfector also comes in the colors, opal, rose gold, and topaz. The topaz color is more geared towards the darker complexions, and gives an instant radiance to your skin. One thing I was taught is that this particular item , is when using it, it does not take a lot of it. Their Fall collection is just as exquisite with a fall array of great eyeshadow colors perfect for fall. This is the first time that I actually learned anything about this makeup line, and I am so excited to start trying out some of their best selling products. Their beach tint shimmer soufflé is great too. This particular product adds that flush of color to your cheeks, and gives your cheeks a great tint. Their shadow light perfector is perfect for those of you that need a little color and want a bit of bronzer added to your foundation. If you are one that needs a bit of coverage , the ultimate coverage complexion crème is amazing. It is a full coverage foundation that is light, and lets your skin breathe a little, unlike some foundations out there. It has a high concentration of pigment and water. If you are looking for a great cosmetic line, Becca may be the one for you.

The Best of Chanel

Happy Saturday!

Chanel has always held the Name in regards to luxury, and fashion. Recently I’ve been so addicted to their wonderful illuminator, and recently I thought I’d treat myself to an array of their makeup products due to the fact of the success that Fit and Bliss has given me. I love trying out new products to let my followers know what I like and what is out there in the best made products. Chanel has always had great perfume, and with the price tag on some makeup items, there are many people who would rather take the drug store buy over the extravagance any day which is understandable. If you are looking for a great illuminator, Chanel makes the best, with Laura Mercier following. Chanel also carries a great skin care line with wonderful eye cream & night cream if you are looking for a newer more complex skin care. I recently bought a few lipglosses and their newest perfume this week, so I can’t wait to try and tell all you beauties what the verdict is! I really don’t think you can go wrong with Chanel!
