My Experience With Sakara 10 Day Reset

Happy Wednesday !

I recently 10 days ago set off on a health and detox adventure with a Sakara Life. The detox consisted of a 10 day devotion to living clean and plant based, discontinuing alcohol and coffee and other preservative filled foods , such as anything fried or foods full of bad fats. The thought of letting go of my weekly wine was a big scare to me. To be perfectly honest, I didn’t know if I could do it.

The Sakara 10 Day Reset

THE WAY IT WORKS

The detox started on a Monday for me. I felt this was a great day to start because it was the start of the week. There is no better day to start something like this than a Monday. We’ve all been there with diets. I started my morning off with a meditation . The meditation was more of an affirmation telling myself, “YES! I can go without coffee today. You have to understand, I LOVE my coffee. I started my morning coffee replacement with a nice glass of the Sakara Life detox tea. It honestly was delicious. It’s loaded up with many cleansing herbs. I honestly felt like, What Coffee? after drinking it.

Probiotic Blend

I then poured me a small glass of filtered water and mixed the Beauty Water Tonic in with my water. It’s filled with Rose and I honestly couldn’t stop smelling it. The aroma was amazing. The Rose water is suppose to help with giving your skin a glow. I then made me my morning Green Smoothie with the Sakara’s Life Source Packet. I also added in my morning probiotic. This honestly was a delicious smoothie. I actually looked forward to it most mornings. Through out my week, I would change it up a bit, and add in a nice Sakara recipe for my breakfast. The recipe’s they include are delicious.

MID DAY SCHEDULE

The Mid Morning would come, and I would add in another Detox Tea. I , at this point, started becoming obsessed with the Detox Tea. My coffee never entered my mind. I did my morning workout. This consisted of either hot yoga, vinyasa yoga or HIIT. I changed it up through out my 10 day. The lunches consisted of one of the many delicious recipes included in the Sakara booklet. Daphne OZ includes some of her recipes in it, and I can’t explain the taste. They are all plant based.

My evening meal would include another delicious recipe . One of my favorites was the Green Veggie Stir Fry. Oh wow, was that good. Before Bed each night, I would make me a cold glass of water and add in the charcoal tonic. I drank this with my evening probiotic. This honestly wasn’t bad to drink either. This structure and schedule became second nature to me. I honestly didn’t miss my wine, and I LOVED this way of living.

This is the end of my Sakara 10 Day Reset. I have to say I’m obsessed. The differences I seen was my ability to not NEED wine or coffee. My moods were amazing. I became more focused and motivated with my blog. My skin looked awesome. Most days I didn’t even have foundation or concealer on. My water intake really increased, and I definitely had more energy. I am going to live this way everyday. I am going to focus on ME everyday . My diet consist only of plant based foods, and I will continue to eat plant based everyday. The way it makes my body feel, and they way it feeds it, is so unexplainable. I have improved my fitness on a daily schedule now. I don’t miss! I also lost 6 lbs on this detox. My body changed.

If you ever want to really change your life, you need to turn to Sakara Life. I can’t believe the amazing Reset they have developed to really change your health, in MIND, BODY, and SPIRIT. It’s a game changer people.

New Year ! New You!

Always Be Bright Everyday and Don’t let anyone Dull your Sparkle

Hey Ladies!

Its a New Year and a New You! I hope you all had an amazing New Years! One thing that I love about starting the New Year is looking back and seeing how much fun I had that year and all the amazing memories I created. It makes me realize just how much I grew as a person, and all the goals and things I want to do for the new year. I actually start each year off with a beautiful journal and I set all my goals. Whether they are big or small, I set monthly goals and weekly goals and even daily goals. I feel when you set daily goals you can look back on the day and see if you achieved them. I think its easier to set daily goals. I reminded myself this year that I am starting each day off with “Priming” myself every morning. I think this is the perfect word. ( thank you Tony Robbins). I start my morning rituals by taking time every morning and doing my meditation, prayer and my daily affirmations. I get ready to start my day with my daily prayer and honestly it makes your day so much brighter. I feel I get so much more done. I wrote down all the things that I wanted to do, vacations I wanted to take, and a jumpstart kick on my health. I mean that is the most important right? Taking just 15 minutes every morning of “me time” is amazing. Starting the New year is also a great way to write down ways you want to get to know yourself better. it can be spending more time in nature, getting to more yoga classes, making new friends. It is up to us to know what we will allow and what we won’t allow. It can be no more cake or no more energy drainers as friends( yes I’ve been there). We are in charge of change. We are in charge of growth. Without change, there is NO growth. One thing I have learned along the way of the aging process is how much more wiser you become. You realize the importance of family, spending time with your loved ones more, eating healthier food, getting more exercise. No matter what your goals are, It’s a New Year, and It’s a fresh start to a New You! Every day should be peaceful and you should go out doing what you love and not letting anyone or anything dull your sparkle. Shine Bright Loves!

Spring clean your Life

There is no other time to start your spring cleaning than now, and I mean for the boy, mind , and spirit. Its getting to be that time of year when you can actually open your windows  and let in the fresh air. Keeping the house closed up all winter, makes dust and allergens settle in, even for those of you who are OCD in the cleaning department. This is the time when everything is yearning for some Vitamin D, including us. Here are some great ways to get started.

Get rid of the preservative filled foods: This is the time to really start looking at the foods you are eating, and how  they make you feel. Believe me when I say this.. If you are one that craves the sweets and sugar, there ARE alternatives that are much more healthy, and will not leave you feeling groggy and slow. Digestive health is essential, and eating foods daily that slow it , will only make you feel worse. This is the perfect time to clean out the fridge and pantry, make a healthy list of wholesome foods, and go on a shopping trip. You can all eat healthy as a family. Start a book of recipes that you want to  try and get started NOW.

Go on a cleanse- you do not have to dedicate your self to a week long cleanse. A simple two -three day cleanse will really detox your systems. If that is something that you feel you are unable to do, a simple day cleanse is great too. Fresh juicing with lemon water in the morning, and eliminating any type of dairy, gluten, caffeine, and alcohol will do your body good. The simple changes in your diet are a great start.

Clear your Home- Spring is the time to start going through closets, garage bins, droors, and everything else, and take the stuff that you no longer need, and drop off at shelters. No one needs anything in their home that they no longer use, or do not need. Give them to someone in need. Replace all your home cleaners , candles, and ect. with green products and soy. They are SO much healthier for you and your family. Add some fresh flowers to a favorite room that you love. It adds so much more beauty to your home. Household clutter can contribute to every day stress also. My motto is “Just get rid of it”.

Spring is a time for renewal, and starting fresh. Everything is coming back to life at this time. We see it happening everyday. Take the time to really cleanse every aspect of your life. Detox everything from your home to even your friend list. You do not need anything in your life that isn’t worth having, or isn’t contributing to your life in any way. If you are one that always says YES to things, start saying No more. Start doing more of the things that make your life fun. Stop doing the things for people that aren’t returned. This is your life. pexels-photo-85773 (1)
