I get emails all the time asking me about my clothes. I am currently reconstructing my blog, and I am adding a great deal of fashion flair to it. I recently posted my comfortable outfit from yesterday, and have gotten many emails on it regarding my top. My top is one of my favorites. I am a lover of Express sweatshirts, and the last time I checked these were out of stock, but recently got more in, so grab one while you can. This outfit is a great matchup for a chilly Fall Day. The jeans are by Joes Jeans , which I love due to the stretchy material. They make amazing jeans that fit perfect. The slip on boots are by Sam Edelman, which is one of my favorite shoe designers. Doesn’t his shoes rock? This outfit would be great with a jean jacket for an added look, and also a great pair of shades for a sunny day. The boots are perfect for crazy, busy days due to the comfort of them. It can sometimes be hard to find boots that are comfortable. Fall clothes are fun, and just adding a few different pieces to your favorite jeans or shoes is a great way to make a statement.
I recently did a post on a great Fall look that I absolutely love. One of my favorite colors is Mustard Yellow, and this sweater is a great price at only $39. I actually received the sweater and was thinking of buying another one in a different color because I loved it so much. The boots are by Marc Fisher, and they are gorgeous. These boots are my go to boots for a lot of my fall looks. They are perfect because they are Over the Knee Boots, which are super popular right now. These boots will go with just about anything. I love the neutral color of them because they look great with all fall colors. Nordstroms has alot of great fall sweaters to choose from, and they have the most gorgeous colors. A great way to throw together some fall looks is to have a great pair of boots and a few great jackets, and you can mix and match your tops in a variety of colors with different jeans and skirts. Happy Fall Shopping!
I have to share with you some of my favorite Fall Obsessions this time of the year, and of course these aren’t the only things I am loving right now, but they are definitely at the top of my list. Every single brand that I can think of, that I absolutely love has all their greatest fall fashion staples out, and I cant seem to get enough of any of them. Some of the great colors I am loving this season are plums, and the mustard yellows. My favorite fall loves that topped my list are
- Snake skin booties- These are my all time favorite. They can be paired up with a cute skirt, short or long, and even a pair of rugged jeans topped with a cute cardigan. I also love the knee length snake skin boots. Zara was selling some really cute beige and white snake skin booties last season, and I’m sure they will be selling more this season , as popular as the look is becoming. Vince Camuto is one of my favorite.
- Chunky pull over sweaters – This is one look that I can not get enough of this season. Who doesn’t have those days where they feel like just putting on a pair of leggings, and a chunky warm sweater. I am loving them in all colors, as they can be paired with your favorite pair of leggings, or even dressed up with some pants. These are great for those ” no leave the house days.” Who doesn’t have one of those every now and then in the winter? zara also has amazing sweaters this season, in the greatest colors.
warm chunky sweaters are the best
Long cardigans are my third favorite fall obsession this year. I love the warmth of a good cardigan. I always pair my cardigans either with leggings or jeans, paired with some tall boots and I am good to go. The belted kind are my favorite, and I have even worn a long belted cardigan underneath a dress paired with boots, and it makes for a fantastic go to outfit. You can pretty much find long cardigans anywhere you go , due to the time of year, and the popularity of them. I love neutral color cardigans because they can go with more pieces of clothing, and can be thrown on just for about anything.
Long cardigans can be pulled together for just about any type of look
There are my favorite October Fall fashion obsessions for this year. What are yours? Fit and bliss would love to hear about them.
It’s that time of the year, when we are hopefully updating our fall wardrobe , and adding some pieces that we can wear either down casually , or dress up. This is simply done by pairing a nice top with either dress slacks, jeans or a cute skirt. One item that can either be used casually or dressed up are the Fall Boots I am seeing. This past weekend, my husband gifted me with some great gifts, and one gift particularly being the FreeBird by Steven boots, which I am sincerely in love with. The detail is exquisite on the back as well as around the boot. They are on the expensive side, but you do not need to spend a lot to look good with boots. I’m seeing all brands carrying the cute fringe boots, and tall leather boots, which will look great this fall. If you do decide to splurge on some boots, remember that you can wear them for a long while. It’s nice to have that great pair of boots that is a little investment. Fringe is really in this year, and the shorter booties are great also paired with a skirt, and a nice tunic. Treat yourself to that great pair, and send your photos to us!! We would love to show them off!
Happy Friday !
Gladiator season is in, and I love all the great new styles out. They have sandels that come all the way up to the knee, and the shorter version ones that are more to the ankle. Either way, they are super cute, and putting together styles, whether dressing up or down, can be done with these shoes. One amazing look with gladiators is the rugged , cut off jean shorts pulled together with a comfy tshirt, or a pair of rugged jeans, if you are going with the shorter version sandel. The over the knee gladiator looks amazing with skirts, and shorts paired together with a belted tunic. I love all the looks in the Harpers Bazaar and Elle magazines this season. If you have a pair, or would love to have a pair, and quite unsure how to wear them, or what to pair them with, believe me , you can’t go wrong with them. They will look great no matter how you pair them, and if you need a bit of inspiration, Pinterest has some great visions on styles, whether you want that boho vibe, or a dressier version which includes a skirt and tunic. You can have so much fun with these sandels in a lot of ways, and the biggest shoe brands have some adorable styles out such as Sam Edelman, Aldo, and Donald Pliner. You don’t have to spend a fortune on them to look good. Online stores everywhere have them out, and sample store sites such as Gilt, and Hautelook are selling them. Have a photo with your gladiators on? Email them to Mdroulos@aol.com and share them with us.
