I’ll have a little mustard with that ! .The Best Fall color

The best Fall color is here..Mustard yellow. Who doesn’t love it? I’m loving the trenches, tops and jeans all in one! The mustard color boots are even gorgeous.

The color mixed with other fall colors yells autumn . It is a casual , but warm feel and looks great with any hair color. I love a long duster paired with tall boots and skinny jeans. The scarves this year are amazing too. Who doesn’t love a super warm scarf in the fall? This is a diverse color that is very popular this season. I’ve always loved the color even before it became popular in fashion. This is a great color that works with leather also.

Many people may think it’s too bland for fashion, but if it’s matched up properly, it can be beautiful. It looks magnificent on brunettes, as dark hair color makes the color pop. The flannels are making a comeback this year, and the mustard yellow flannels with tall leather boots and a pair of jeans are perfect for any casual day. All you need is that hot latte and your ready for the fall season!

Fall Must Haves for 2016

Fall is here, and there is nothing like getting your Fall wardrobe together. It has always been my favorite time of the year. I absolutely love the cooler weather, especially coming off of a very hot summer. The  sports, and bonfires are something that I will forever treasure. It is also my absolute favorite fashion season too.  Who can’t get enough of the boots, scarves, sweaters, and vests that come out each fall season. There are so many ways to pull off a great season style. You can go from day to-night with just a few accessories.

I have many great items that I love dearly this time of year. Matter of fact, I pull them out every fall season. They include my Burberry Scarf that I love with all of my heart. ( yes its dear to me). It goes with just about everything for a sleek , yet casual look. It can be paired with a great pair of jeans and boots, and a great jacket. I love the Autumn colors in it, and that is why I love it so much. Did I mention how warm it is also? I have had this forever it seems, and I grow more and more in love with it.

I recently bought a new wonderful hat that I can’t wait to pull off this year. It is a gray , floppy hat that I found at Zara. Zara is a store that has everything. I can literally get lost in that store for hours. Their clothes are classy and sleek, and have a French twist to them. It’s very modern, but high fashion. The store carries anything from simple pieces to an outfit you could see on any runway. The hat would look great paired with a long tunic, and vest.

Every Fall season, I can’t help falling in love with the amazing dark nail colors. I very rarely use color on my nails, except in the Fall. I love the reds, purples, and golds. I know they look trendy, but wow are they gorgeous. I love the Revlon color Vixen. One of my all time favorites. This color looks great on nails and toes, especially if you will be wearing some nice open toe shoes. Vixen is a great color paired up with my favorite lip color by Too Faced Melted. The color in Metallic chocolate is a great color for anyone. It looks absolutely gorgeous on.

The shoes make the outfit right? Well of course. My all time favorite accessory is the shoe. The boots that I am loving this fall are those by Vince Camuto. I cant tell you how much I love his shoes. I’m borderline obsessed I think. He has a knack for hitting every style known to man. They range from over the knee to the ankle bootie. Check out my faves!fullsizerender-176fullsizerender-175

My favorite Picks in Fall Boots

I feel Fall in the air, and there is nothing like getting your fall wardrobe ready, or at least giving it a face lift. I am loving all of the boots I am seeing. The bests range from over the knee ( which is my favorite to the  ankle bootie which is perfect with a pair of skinnies. Their are so many great ways to add a variety of styles to your fall wardrobe. I know many women I talk to do not like the over the knee look. They feel their legs aren’t long enough to pull that off. Either way there are great styles to fit everyone’s needs.

I have  to show you some of my favorites, and where you can pick them up. I recently visited Chicago, where I picked up some great Catherine Malandrino over the knee boots in taupe. They are gorgeous, and can’t wait to pair them with a great duster . That look looks great together. I have my favorite brands that I love in shoes, simply because they are made well and last a long time. I’ve had a pair of my boots by Frye company for over 5 years, and  they still look great. One thing you need to remember when shopping for fall boots. You may pay more for the nicer ones, but its for a reason. You want to pick Quality over Price. There are many brands out there that I don’t even buy because of the poor quality in material, and the way they are sized. Here are a few of my favorites:

These are the Catherine Malandrino boots that I bought a few weekends back in Chicago. They are the perfect over the knee boot, and the color is gorgeous. These are great paired with a long skirt, or a pair of skinny jeans and a great duster. They are simply beautiful. These can be picked up at Nordstrom.

fullsizerender-170Who Doesn’t love Vince Camuto? His style rocks when it comes to fashion. Enough said. I love all his styles. This particular one is very comfortable, and casual. These boots can be worn up or worn down for a more laid back look. They come in a few different colors. These can be picked up at Vince Camuto.

fullsizerender-171The last ones are some of my favorites. I absolutely love the Frye Company. They make the best in boots, handbags, and so much more. They use the best in leather, and you can almost guarantee you will find a style that you absolutely love. I love these boots as well as the ankle booties. You can order anything online from the Frye company or pick up in one of their big city stores. fullsizerender-172Go ahead and start your Boot camp. This kind doesn’t require any excessive energy that isn’t fun!

4 Fall staples you need for the Fall

Fall is right around the corner, and there is no better time to get your closet ready than now. Fall is my favorite time of year. Besides loving to drink my favorite Starbucks coffee drinks, night time fires, football, and the gorgeous leaves, I love fall fashion. It’s my all time favorite.

Every year I start looking at some of the biggest trends in fashion. I have four great fashion staples that you need to add to your fall wardrobe. They are casual, yet fun basics. They can be worn everyday for that fun, Fall look.

  • A cargo jacket- A cargo jacket is a necessity this fall. They come in some great colors, but my all time favorite is army green. Pairing that with a simple white tshirt is a great look. I just recently bought the one from Nordstrom
  • Ripped denim jeans- these are amazing with any type of top. They have that rugged look that is a total top trend this fall. Pairing these with a pair of amazing booties is ideal.
  • Booties- Of course you need a great pair of booties to pair with those jeans. Vince Camuto Sells amazing booties.
  • Geometric scarves- These type of scarves can be worn during the day for a casual look, and can also be worn at night with a skirt and tall boots for a more conservative look. The geometric scarves are a great staple to add to any Fall wardrobe.

I’m sure that adding a great Starbucks Fall drink would add greatly to any Fall outfit. Get that closet ready.

Amazing Pumpkin balls!

Hi ladies!

I have an amazing pumpkin ball recipe that I recently made this weekend, and they are delicious! Fall is around the corner, and I love baking healthy, fall foods . These balls are great for a healthy snack.

  • 4 T of oats , and coconut. ( divide the two into 2 T each) ( dry ingredients)
  • 2 T nut butter ( organic )
  • 2 T pumpkin purée
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/8 tsp cloves
  • Pinch of dried ginger
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • Splash of vanilla extract
  • Splash of stevia

Put the dry ingredients into a food processor until you have them into powder form.

Add the remaining ingredients in.

Taste a little bit for the spiceness. You may need to adjust. People may like theirs a little bit more sweet or spicy.

The mixture will be very wet. Roll them into balls and put in fridge over night. These are great snacks and perfect for fall., they would be great combined with some hot spiced chai tea.
