Spice up your Morning with my Favorite Vegan Eggnog Spiced Latte

It’s that time of the season where everything seems Merry and Bright, but of course a bit chaotic at times. It seems through the hustle and bustle of the Holidays, it feels great to drink some good holiday cheer. This recipe will add a bit of sweetness to your days, and of course, IT’S HEALTHY. I love Starbucks so much, but one drink’s calories equals a whole meal. I love this recipe because it is vegan, and it is so delicious. You can add any toppings to this drink. My favorites are a bit of whip cream, and cinnamon sprinkled on top. I still enjoy my Starbucks, but I try not to add in extra unwanted calories every day. This is the perfect drink for Christmas gatherings, and having something delicious while you wrap your gifts. Enjoy!

8 oz. silk almond milk eggnog
2 tea bags of Chai Tea ( organic)
1/2 cup strong espresso

In a small saucepan, heat the eggnog and two tea bags over medium heat. You never want to allow it to come to a boil, as it will be too overheated. You want to make sure you stir often. As soon as the eggnog formstimy bubbles. and it’s about to start simmering, make sure to remove from the heat immediately. Remove the teabags from the egg nog. Pour coffee in your favorite mug, and top with the chai spiced egg nog and add whip cream and cinnamon or any toppings you love. The best Egg nog latte for the holiday!

It wouldn’t feel the holiday season without a little egg Nog included right? I have the perfect recipe for this holiday season that will have you ditching that coffee for good. Many people do not like the taste of egg Nog on its own, and only enjoy it when it’s included in a recipe. If you are one of those people, this recipe is for you!

Egg Nog can be a bit heavy, so it’s best to find a reduced fat egg nog if you can. Many stores sell it.

1/3 cup skim milk
2/3 cup egg nog
1.5 fluid oz. espresso
1 pinch of ground nutmeg and cinnamon

Pour the milk and the egg Nogg into a steaming pitcher and heat between 145-165 degrees using a steaming wand. Brew the shot of espresso , then add to the mug. Pour the steamed milk and egg nog into the mug, using a spoon to hold back the foam. Spoon foam over the top. Sprinkle nutmeg and cinnamon on top! This is truly delicious! Enjoy!

Pomegranate Berry Spritzer

Hi Dolls! 

I know what drink I’ll be serving this Holiday season. This drink is perfect for those health minded individuals that want to have a great cocktail with a twist. Who doesn’t love a great cocktail during the holiday season? I know I do. This drink is served with lots of antioxidants. Pomegranates are perfect this holiday with their rich red color, and delicious flavor. You can add this to your holiday soirĂ©e! 

1 tablespoon of pomegranate seeds 

1/3 cup fresh blackberries ( organic)

2 oz. Blackberry pomegranate sparkling water( this can be found at most health food stores)

Option- add 1.5 oz of vodka 

Combine ingredients in a glass. Mix well . Serve over ice and garnish with organic cranberries. This recipe makes 1 drink and doesn’t take no time at all. I promise your guests will love it!
