Strobing is the new contour to get that gorgeous glow

It has long been around that getting that gorgeous glow can be achieved through a good moisturizer and taking care of your skin through sun protection and good skincare. These days you don’t need the most amazing skin to achieve a gorgeous glow. With the many amazing You tubers , and celebrity makeup artists , now Strobing is being used to achieve that gorgeous glow with the dewy look.Strobing is used with the most gorgeous in illuminators, where its applied on the cheekbone where natural light would normally hit your face, which is the brow bone, cheek, middle of forehead, ect. It gives your face the illusion of glow and health. It can be applied heavy , or light, and can make your skin look prominent in photos. The best way to apply the illuminator is to apply your makeup as normal, and use the illuminator at the very end of your makeup application. Apply the illuminator along the cheekbone area, and apply a bit at the top of the brow bone. My personal favorite is the Becca Highlighter, and comes in many gorgeous illuminating colors. I love Opal because it goes best with my skin tone. It is the next best thing to contouring .

Too Faced Melted Lipsticks & Swatches & Review

Hi ladies!

I’m sure you all know by now that I’m one of the biggest lipstick junkies from all the past posts that I’ve done on my blog. I love going in to Sephora and trying out all the latest and greatest beauty products. I have always loved Too Faced beauty products from the time that I laid eyes on them. The latest lipstick that I’m loving right now is the beautiful lip colors Melted by Too Faced. These colors are absolutely beautiful on , and they have a long staying power. More and more lipsticks are beautiful , but only stay on for a small amount of time. One thing I love about the Too Faced Melted colors is they last for hours, and have a great creamy look and feel to them. They aren’t too matted, and do have a shimmer to them. Too faced Melted lip colors come in six sultry shades , and are infused with antioxidant rich cocoa powder, and are vegan and gluten free. They bring bold color and rich shine , and the colors are stunning. The tubes are glam and cute, and would be perfect for any addition to a gift . Here are the swatch samples below:

My all time favorite is melted Nude because it’s the perfect light nude color, with not too much pink added to it. Check out the Too Faced Melted lipsticks at any Sephora store.

Get the smokey look with urban decay

Hi ladies!

In some of my recent posts, I have talked about how much I love Urban Decay palettes. The smokey version palette is the bomb. Anyone with any eyecolor can pull a great smokey eye look off with this particular palette. It consists of a darker lid color, with a highlighter, then a light color for the corners, and a taupe for the outer lid. The basics of this palette is basically simple as it gives you directions on how to achieve the smokey look, and where to apply each color. The best way to achieve a look that you love is to mess around with the palette a few times with different colors to achieve your desired look. You can also walk in to any Sephora store, and one of their assistants will help with your desired makeover. The great component about these Urban Decay palettes, is there are multiple colors to try . If you think one lid color looks too dark, you can try another lighter color. These palettes are at the top of the most bought palettes for a reason. You can always check out great you tube channels on the urban decay palette. Everyone needs to go with a smokin hot look every once in a while.

The ultimate in lipglosses

Hi ladies!

Hope you all had an amazing Mother’s Day weekend! I’ve been wanting to do a post on my favorite lipglosses for some time now, and I thought that this month is the time to do it.

Lipglosses can be tricky because there are so many of them that you pay top dollar for, and some that I have used have begun to wore off even before you leave the house, or the color that you picked isn’t quite the same color when applied. The lipglosses below are my all time favorites, and as much as I’m a lipgloss junkie, I’m very picky about the brands of which I use.

Buxom Lipglosses are the bomb. They last a long time after being applied, and have the plumping effect built in, with that tingling effect. It is infused with Vitamin A and C, and the colors are gorgeous. You can walk into any Sephora store and they will test it on you with a complimentary makeover, or you can test on yourself. I literally have them in every color.
THe other brand I absolutely love is Tarte lipglosses. This is a more creamy lipgloss that gives you that long lasting wear. The colors are gorgeous also, and can be complimented with any skin tone. This brand doesn’t have the tingling effect quite like Buxom, but I do love the long lasting finish. Tarte can be found at any Sephora store also. The key to spending your money wisely on glosses is trying them out at the store first. Most of the time Sephora will give you any sample you wish to have. It’s always fun to go lipgloss shopping!

Love contouring? Smashbox made it a whole lot easier

Hi ladies!

Contouring the face is so popular these days, that buying that perfect contouring kit can be a bit overwhelming , due to all the companies that have come out with contouring kits. I have really tried most of them, and as they all are made amazingly, Smashbox has come out with something so much easier.Smashbox has come out with some amazing contouring sticks, that ultimately can redefine any area on your face. We all know that contouring the face can bring depth, shadows, hide unevenness, and give you a more defined look. These contouring pencils are made for either darker skin tones, or lighter and fair skin tones. They include two pencils for the darker , contouring lines, and be for the highlighter, that draws the contouring out.

Pallets can be very convienent for some, but these contouring pencils do not need anything but the blending, which I love the beauty blender. You contour the areas you are wanting, and then blending in all the lines, to make it look natural. I am absolutely in love with these, and are one of the greatest inventions ever in makeup. You can pick these up at any Sephora store.
