-1 cup alkaline water

-1 cup coconut water

-2 tbsp almond butter

-2 tbsp hemp seeds

-1 tbsp Maca powder

-1/4 tsp cardamom

pinch of himilayan sea salt

– for more antioxidants , add in 1/2 tsp of ashwagandha

Blend all ingredients until you get a creamy consistency. Enjoy!

Watermelon is a wonderful fruit, that is becoming more widely known as a “super fruit”. The benefits of this amazing fruit are phenomenal, and their is no other great way of getting the benefits than to make an amazing smoothie. This fruit is perfectly amazing in the hot summers. Its a water condensed fruit, and can be quite tasty. It is even better when mixed with a bit of mint.

Watermelon is an excellent source of Vitamin C. Vitamin C is a very important vitamin that we all need to be getting enough of. It helps to combat free radicals, and keep it contains lycopene. Lycopene is known to help decrease the chances of prostate cancer. Consuming large amounts of watermelon has been linked to improvement of the heart and your heart health. It helps to relax the nervous system, and helps to achieve stronger bones. It keeps the calcium elevated in your body, which improves the bones.

Watermelon has also been correlated with decreased inflammation in the body. You don’t hear about to much, but watermelon is loaded with antioxidants and vitamins. It truly is a super fruit, even though it doesn’t get raved as often. It helps with a multitude of health ailments, and helps with optimal health. -1/2 cup watermelon chopped

-1/2 cup almond milk

-1 mint leaf

-ice (optional)

 

Blend all of this together. Make sure that you have the ice blended as well too. I will add in my mint, but add another mint leaf to the glass. ( that’s optional as well). It’s summer time , and who doesn’t love a good chocolate milk shake? I have the best recipe , and the best part, it’s healthy. 

Most milkshakes are filled with sugar and preservatives of all sorts. Even though they may taste delicious, they aren’t that great for your body. If I am a lover of certain desserts, I am always on the lookout for a healthier version. This recipe is a hit in my house. It’s a vegan plant based milkshake, but you wouldn’t know it by the taste. 

2 Tbsp powdered cacao

1 tbsp maca 

1/4 tsp cinnamon

1/4 tsp sea salt

1 1/2 cup almond milk

1 Tbsp coconut nectar

Blend all this , and enjoy! 

Optional: you can top your milkshake with whip cream .

Who doesn’t love coconut? It reminds me so much of what I love the best which is the beaches, Caribbean, SPF lotions, sitting around my favorite Vegas pools, and so much more. It seems I can’t get enough of it these days. Currently my favorite is coconut milk, which I drink everyday as a part of my morning smoothie.

The recipe below is one Of my favorite smoothies. It’s loaded with fiber, potassium, antioxidants, and will revive your energy. Coconut milk has a lot of great vitamins and minerals, and it’s best to find one that is of  good quality.

  • 1 frozen banana.
  • 1 cup kale ( organic)
  • 1 cup organic coconut milk
  • Ice
  • 1 mint leaf

Blend and enjoy! This is a wonderful smoothie that can be a morning starter or an afternoon pick me up!

This morning elixir is amazing, and I just tried it this weekend , after reading Mindbodygreen. We all know that taking a probiotic is so important when it comes to gut health, due to the fact that it’s the most important component in our immune system. There are over 400 types of bacteria that live in there , so it’s up to us to keep our guy health very healthy. It’s known that a poor living lifestyle such as stress overload, poor diet, pollution, toxin build up and so much more can push our health down the drain. Aloe Vera has long been known to help improve our stomach and kidney health, and adding in aloe Vera gel is a great way to keep our guts healthy and stabilized. 

Here is a wonderful morning drink that is not only healthy , but quite delicious, loaded with antioxidants, and plenty of vitamins. 1 tsp fresh aloe Vera gel


1 tsp turmeric

1/2 tsp marshmallow root powder

1/2 oz. Apple cider vinegar 

8 0z. Warm water 

Add all the ingredients into hot water, and shake well.
