Spring is here, and there is no better time to get your Spring Fling on. When I say Spring Fling on, I mean get your Mind, Body and Spirit in check with some good organization . We all feel better when we get stuff done, and everything around us is in sync. We feel good in the Mind, and our Spirits are full. It is that A-HA moment when you feel that you can truly enjoy Spring because everything is running smoothly. I have some Great Ways to get you there.
THROW OUT THE OLD, AND BRING IN THE NEW
This is a great time to go through your closets, drawers, and pantry. Discard anything that doesn’t fit you, or you haven’t worn in 6 months. If you haven’t worn it in 6 months, you probably never will. This is a great time to get some bags , and start clearing out. You can give your gently used items away to many places that will accept clothing or food. There is always someone in need. Throw out all the items that have reached their expiration date. I promise you the minute you clear the unused, your mind will feel so much better. This makes more room for newer spring wardrobe staples.
CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN
There is no better time to get your house cleaned, and let that new energy in. A clean home isn’t just for smelling fresh and clean, but it clears out the old energy, and lets way for the new energy. I love having my house cleaned, then going through each room and burning Sage. I feel this enlightens my home, and discards any old , unwanted energy out of the home. I mean who doesn’t love the smell of a clean home. This is a great time to change out any pictures for newer ones. A new set of sheets always does the trick for me. I LOVE new bed sheets.
SET UP A NEW WORKOUT SCHEDULE FOR YOURSELF
Working out is so important for our bodies, minds, and spirits. If you are wanting a change in workouts, or adding a certain type of workout, this is the time. You will feel so much better after devoting time to yourself and giving yourself time . We all owe ourselves that . Trying a new yoga class or barre class is a great way to see if something new is for you. Walking outside for just 10-15 minutes a day is a game changer. Breathing in fresh air and being outside is so good for your soul.
INVEST IN A GOOD SPRING MANI/PEDI
Once you feel you have gotten yourself in order, and the organization is complete, go treat yourself with a beautiful mani/pedi to start off spring right. There is nothing better than taking time for YOU. A good hour in the salon is the perfect way to start Spring off the right way. I know it can be a luxury for some, but just giving yourself an hour every day is so life changing. This can be done with a massage, salon appointment or just sitting and reading a book or magazine.
The best way to get your Spring Fling on is make a list of the things I just mentioned, and try to take April and challenge yourself in getting those things accomplished. You will love yourself later.
