Valentines Day Favorites

Happy Monday!

Valentines Day is just around the corner, and I want to share some of my favorite Valentines Favorites with you. Many people can’t seem to get into Valentines Day, but for some reason I love it. It may be because it’s around my birthday. I love making cute cake pops or some cute cupcakes, and I love giving my friends some great wine and chocolates. I love to gift give. It’s my favorite. I absolutely love chocolates and wine together. There are many great ways to spice up your husbands or boyfriends day. The smallest things go so far and mean the most. Leaving a cute note with some of their favorite chocolates in their car, or just making them up a small gift basket of some of their favorite things is something nice to do. It’s also a cute idea to set up a time to hit a wine bar before sitting down to a nice dinner. For the little ones, they love anything and everything. My son is way to big to get those valentines gifts, so I usually get him one of his favorite gift cards or a card with cash. My daughter still loves the girly things, so I usually buy her some personalized chocolates , and take her for a pedicure , or even buying those over sized cards are always fun. There are many ways to let your significant other and family know how much you mean, and it doesn’t even have to cost a thing. Taking your family member to lunch, or making them a nice dinner is always a great gesture. As chaotic as the days seem to get with sports, and other things, it can be hard to make the time through the week to get to dinner or even make dinner sometimes. Writing a nice note or doing something nice for someone will go far.

Great Ways To Add Some Valentine Fun to Your Holiday

The Great Month of February is almost here, and there is no better time to have some fun then around Valentines Day. I know its still in the dreary winter, but this is always a great time to have a little fun with your kids, and personally I love February. Its a short month, V-day is celebrated with fun crafts and treats, Its my Birthday, ( I know I’m not little , but I love celebrating birthdays, and Its almost Spring. Those are enough reasons to love it! I have always loved baking, and this is a great month to pull out your cookie cutters, and icing ,and have some fun.

My daughter and I always bake together. I love making holiday treats and decorating them. Its a great way to drop off some goodies to your friends and families. She loves to give them to her teachers and friends too. Its a nice gesture to anyone. Later in the month I will be posting many healthy valentine treats that you can make, including ones for toddlers as well as adults. Every little kid loves their sugar. I want to give you some great ways on how you can celebrate valentines day and make the most of it. It only comes around once a year, so why not have some fun.
*Making dinner for the whole family with your kids is always fun, and letting them pick the meal. Its more fun for them when they get to pick what we are eating.
*Make a collage for your kids, including all the things they enjoy to do. If that’s their sporting events, funny pictures from sleepovers, or anything fun, they will love it.
*Hang out and watch a great family movie after dinner as a family. As your kids get older, especially mine, that is very hard. Take advantage of the time you have with them.
*Do a Spa Day with your daughter. Everyone loves getting pampered.
*Leave cute notes and candy in your kids room for when they get home from school. The memory is what counts.
*Buy some good wine and great desserts and have your family over for dinner. You cant get enough time with your mom and dad.
*Give your kids or loved one a great photo of the tow of you and frame it
*If you have a daughter, buy her some flowers and put in her room. She will LOVE it.
*If you are around your friends or family, focus on bringing a smile or some laughter. Its great medicine

These are only a few great things that you can do with and for your family. The memories are the only things that count.
