Benefits of matcha tea

I’ve always been a tea drinker , but I’ve been drinking matcha tea – a high quality green tea that is enjoyed in many ways and has amazing health benefits. The taste is strong and really taste alot like vegetables . It has an orac value of 1384 units which is compatible with 14 times the antioxidants of blueberries. It increases your body’s ability to burn fat and calories by 4 times. It increases your energy level, and is rich in L – theanine, and the incredible cancer – fighting properties are amazing. Green juice of week

This is a great recipe for juicing that I just tried, and it is delicious!

Green lemonade juice

1/2 cup kale

1/3 cup spinach

1 celery stalk chopped

4 slices cucumber

2 tbsp lemon juice

1/3 cup chopped apples

1 tbsp ginger

1/2 cup almond milk

Mix all these together in your juicer, and enjoy!

Spinach , tomato and pasta

Toss 2 1/2 cups baby spinach with 11/2 oz diced part skim mozzarella. Add I chopped small tomato, 2 tbsp basil leaves, 1tbsp olive oil and balsamic vinigirette! Serve with 1 cup whole wheat spaghetti, and 1/2 cup marinara sauce. This is a great recipe loaded with good carbs, and is very nutritious.

Tuna salad in a pepper

This is a great mid day snack, and has only 283 calories!
1 5 oz can of solid white tuna, packed in water.

1 medium celery stalk, chopped

1/3 medium red onion, chopped

1 tbsp mayo

1 tsp Dijon mustard

1 medium pepper, cut out middle

Fresh parsley for garnish

Combine tuna , celery, onion, mayo, and mustard in a medium bowl.

Spoon out pepper

Put all ingredients in the pepper. Enjoy!
